Fry Bread 4 cups all-purpose flour 1 tablespoon baking powder 1 teaspoon salt 2 tablespoons powdered milk Vegetable oil for deep-frying Combine flour, baking powder, salt and powdered milk in large bowl. Mix just enough water to shape into flat pancakes. Fry in approximately 1-inch of hot oil until brown on both sides, turning once; drain. Serve warm. This is Navajo-style fried bread.
