Grilled Biscuits 3 cups all-purpose flour 3 teaspoons baking powder 1-teaspoon salt 1/3 cup shortening About 2/3-cup milk 4 tablespoons margarine, melted Combine flour, baking powder and salt in large bowl. Cut in shortening with two knives or a pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse cornmeal. Add milk and mix lightly. Turn out onto lightly floured board or pastry cloth and roll to ½-inch thickness. Cut with a 2-inch biscuit cutter. Brush tops with melted margarine and place biscuits directly on grill over low heat. Cover with a sheet of aluminum foil. Bake about 10 minutes or until biscuits are browned. If you prefer the tops browned, turn biscuits once. Yield: 16 biscuits
