Hamburger Potato Casserole 3 to 4 cups thinly sliced potatoes 1 thinly sliced onion salt & pepper to taste 1 pound ground beef 1 (14 ½ oz.) can corn or green beans, drained 1 (10 ¾ oz.) can cream of chicken soup 1/3 cup milk ½ teaspoon garlic powder pepper to taste 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese Arrange sliced potatoes and onions, sprinkles with salt and pepper to taste, in bottom and up sides of greased 13x9-inch baking dish. Bake uncovered at 400º for 25 - 30 minutes. Meanwhile in large skillet, brown ground beef and drain well. Add remaining ingredients to beef and ½ cup shredded cheese and heat until cheese is melted. Pour over potatoes and bake at 400º for 30 - 45 minutes. Sprinkle with parsley and remaining ½ cup shredded cheese, return to oven until cheese topping is melted. Makes 6-8 servings.
