Sirloin Ribbons 1 ½ lbs. boneless beef, 1-inch thick sirloin steak ¼ cup soy sauce ¼ cup water 3 tablespoons fresh lime juice 1 teaspoon sugar 3 cloves garlic, minced 24 cubes (1x1 inch) fresh pineapple Partially freeze steak to firm; slice into ¼-inch thick strips. Combine soy sauce, water, lime juice, sugar and garlic. Place beef strips in plastic bag or glass dish. Add marinade and stir to coat beef. Marinate 20 to 30 minutes. Alternately thread on skewer (weaving back and forth) 2 or 3 beef strips, 1 pineapple cube and repeat until all strips are used. Grill over medium coals 4 minutes, turning once.
