Mrs. Grady's Slow Cooker Beans 1 pound lean ground beef 1 small onion, chopped 8 bacon strips, chopped 1 can (about 15 ounces) pinto beans, undrained 1 can (about 15 ounces) butter beans, rinsed and drained - reserving ¼ cup liquid 1 can (about 15 ounces) kidney beans, rinsed and drained ¼ cup ketchup 2 tablespoons molasses ½ teaspoon dry mustard ½ cup granulated sugar ¼ cup packed brown sugar Brown ground beef, onion and bacon in medium saucepan over high heat. Stir in beans and liquid; set aside. Combine ketchup, molasses and mustard in medium bowl. Mix in sugars. Stir ketchup mixture into beef mixture; mix well. Transfer to slow cooker. Cover and cook on LOW 2 to 3 hours or until heated through. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
