Smothered Steak 'N Mushrooms 2 pounds round steak Flour Oil Salt and pepper 1 onion, cut into eighths 1/4 - 1/2 pound mushrooms, sliced Sliced potatoes, optional 2 - 10 1/2 ounce cans cream of mushroom soup Cut steak into individual portion sizes. Dredge in flour and brown in oil. Salt and pepper to taste. In same skillet, or roasting pan, lay meat on bottom, top with onions and mushrooms. Potato sliced can be added, too, it you like. Top with soup. Cover and cook at 300° for 2 1/2 hours or simmer on low in covered skillet. Served 4
