Sweet and Sour Meatballs ½ cup fine breadcrumbs 1 teaspoon salt 1/3 teaspoon pepper 1 tablespoon onion, grated 1 egg, beaten ½ teaspoon horseradish 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce 2 tablespoons oil ½ cup tomato juice 1 pound ground beef Sauce: 1 large can tomatoes 1 cup brown sugar ¼ cup vinegar ½ teaspoon salt 10 gingersnaps, finely crushed Combine breadcrumbs, salt, pepper, onion, egg, horseradish, Worcestershire sauce, oil and tomato juice. Mix well, then add ground beef. Chill for one hour and shape into small balls. Bake on a cookie sheet at 425° for 1- to 15 minutes or until done. In a saucepan prepare the sauce by combining tomatoes, brown sugar, vinegar, salt and gingersnaps. Cook for 5 minutes then add cooked meatballs heat thoroughly and serve immediately, or you can put in a crock-pot for several hours to blend the taste
